Using stylized gestures as a mode of ritualistic format and screen performance, White’s modus operandi often explores subjects of relationships of power and repression. Drawing from ancient stories and texts re-contextualized into meditations on the world in which we live and the ramifications of inaction and stagnation, it is informed by Eastern philosophies, psychological theory and world art.
